Garden Shed

Location: Troy, Ohio
This small garden shed and workshop fulfills the simple need of providing an outdoor space for storing various lawn equipment and supplies. Nestled into the back corner of the property, it respects the design language of the surrounding neighborhood with its use of simple materials. The sliding doors and sloped roof are a galvinized, corrugated steel and the clerestory windows a transluscent polycarbonate to allow for light on the interior while maintaining privacy. An overhang and small porch allow for a potting station that is protected from overhead sun.
The delivery of the project included a set of detailed drawings and instructions for the client to use for the shed’s construction. Images shown are excerpts from the final document.
